When 3 year old asks "why"

you know your in trouble. =)

I had heard of moms saying their kids asked "Why mommyyyyy???" to everything, but never really believed it.  i mean really? would a kid serisously go on and on asking why for no other reason than to torment the mother? The answer is yes. =)
today in the car, Makayla is asking a question every 2 seconds, followed by another question every 2 seconds. never ending.
makayla- why are cactus green?
Me- god made them that way
makayla- why did go make them that way?
me- because green is his favorite color?( i am trying here ladies)
makayla- why is green his favorite color?
me- b/c its beautiful.
makayla- why is it beautiful?

okay- it kept going.. on and on... =)
Then, this week has also been full of unusual questions as well. A few of the more colorful ones for you.

Makayla- "mommy, how DOES God get a baby in you Belly?" I reply- ask your Daddy, ( who was sitting right there turning red)
Daddy- well, a very special angel puts it in mommies belly. ( ya think he thinks highly of himself??)

Then , later today, she asks, "mommy can you have another baby tonight?"
me- "um, no- there is not a baby in my belly right now  hunny..."
Makayla- "oh. well then, can the Angel go put one in your belly tonight?"
Me-" thats a question to go ask your daddy as well! ! ;) "

one last funny one.
David gets out of the shower. Makayla happens to run in. She points to you know where...
Makayla to Daddy- "whats that?"
Daddy- "my peepee"
makayla- "no daddy, i know that, but WHATS ITS REAL NAME??"

hhmmm.. time for us all to keep doors shut while undressing ! She is getting mighty curious these days!

So- that is my humor for the week. She keeps us entertained. Living with a 3 year old is like living with a comedian in your family room 24/7... except that comedian might happen to have constant meltdowns and spill her yogurt drink down her dress. I guess you could just say it's all part of the comedy act! ( living this day in and day out, you HAVE to look at it like that....)
